Itinerary-14 Days


Day 1:Arrive Kathmandu (N)

Day at Leisure

Day 2: Kathmandu
Arrive and transfer to the Hotel for 2 nights. (N)

Day 3: Kathmandu • Bhaktapur
Morning tour of Kathmandu, including Durbar Square and the Golden Swayambhunath stupa. In the afternoon visit Bhaktapurm the most medieval city in Nepal and one of the three kingdoms of the Mallas. Here you visit Lion Gate, the Gallery, the Golden Gate and the Palace of 55 Windows. (B)

Day 4: Nuwakot
Drive to Nuwakot for 1 night. The village, has retained much of its delightful medieval style and character and is an excellent base to explore the surrounding area. In the afternoon take a guided afternoon village walk. (B, L, D)

Days 5-6: Bandipur
Drive to the Newari village of Bandipur and spend 2 nights . This afternoon take a stroll through the main square and through idyllic farms, orange groves, giving you the opportunity to interact with locals. Following day at leisure. (B, L, D)

Day 7: Pokhara
Drive to Pokhara and stay 2 nights . Afternoon tour of Pokhara which includes visits to the city, new market, Tibetan Camp, Gupteshwar Cave, Seti Gorge and Devi Fall. (B)

Day 8: Pokhara
Morning trek to the World Peace Stupa for views over Pokhara and the Himalaya. Continue on foot to Phewa lake and take a boat back to Pokhara. Afternoon at leisure with optional walking tours in the beautiful surrounding area. (B)

Day 9: Lumbini
Drive to Lumbini and stay 2 nights . (B)

Day 10: Lumbini
Morning tour of Lumbini beginning with a walk around the Maya Devi temple, where the Buddha is said to have been born. Other visits on the tour include the Sacred Garden, the Lumbini Museum and the Eastern lane of the Theravada Monastic Zone to see the various monasteries. (B)

Day 11: Chitwan
Drive to Chitwan and stay 2 nights . Containing a sizeable wildlife population, Chitwan was once a centre for hunting trips that were popular with the British and Nepali aristocrats. Afternoon wildlife viewing. (B, L, D)

Day 12: Chitwan
Early morning and late afternoon wildlife viewings. The park is home to an estimated 400+ Asian one-horned rhinos and 80 Royal Bengal tigers, elephants, sloth bears, wild boars, gaur (bison), species of deer, monkeys, crocodiles, leopards, and more than 450 bird species. (B, L, D)

Day 13: Kathmandu
Drive to Kathmandu and stay overnight Hotel. (B)

Day 14: Fly home (B)
