Days 1-2: Los Angeles
Fly to Los Angeles (regional connections available) and transfer to Hotel in Santa Barbara for a 2-night stay. A landmark since the 1920s, this iconic property combines glamour with a laid-back style. Original architectural features of the 1920s have been preserved and there is an expansive pool overlooking the Pacific Ocean. (N)
Day 3: Fly to Tahiti • Fly to Bora Bora
Transfer back to Los Angeles and fly to Papeete in Tahiti. Connect with a domestic flight to Bora Bora and stay at the Resort for 6 nights. Your stay will be in an overwater bungalow set around the Bora Bora lagoon and its outer beaches, overlooking the lagoon’s turquoise waters with views of Mount Otemanu. (B)
Days 4-8: Bora Bora
Days at leisure to enjoy the clear waters, undisturbed beaches and marine life of one of the most beautiful islands in the world. There are endless opportunities for making the most of this stunning location, from snorkelling over coral reefs to private dining under the stars. Each morning your breakfast will be delivered directly to your bungalow by canoe. (B)
Day 9: Tetiaroa
Fly to the picture-book paradise of Tetiaroa. Stay for 3 nights at Hotel, formerly the exclusive and favoured retreat of Tahitian royalty until Marlon Brando fell in love with the island during a film shoot and bought the island, which has now been developed into the world's first and foremost post-carbon luxury resort. Days 10-11: Tetiaroa Island
A stay at The Brando hotel includes a range of activities from cycling and bird watching to kayaking and paddle boarding. Snorkelling trips are also recommended to see the wealth of marine life found in the nearby reefs, such as sea turtles, rays, reef sharks and tropical fish. Alternatively, more leisurely activities available include exploring the spectacular lagoon by Polynesian outrigger canoe, or simply relaxing on the beach or by the pool on this picturesque island. Days 12-14: Fly home via Papeete
