Day 1: Fly to Venice, Italy

Fly to Venice  and transfer to the  Hotel for 1 night. (B)

Days 2-3: Venice, Italy

Transfer to your Silversea cruise for 10 nights. Explore the city at leisure or enjoy one of the optional excursions. Late evening sailing on Day 3. (B, L, D)

Day 4: Ravenna, Italy

Morning arrival in Ravenna, a small city of palaces and magnificent monuments with cobblestone streets and spectacular Byzantine mosaics. Explore independently or join one of the many shore excursions before departing this evening for Croatia. (B, L, D)

Day 5: Zadar, Croatia

Arrive this morning at the beautiful city of Zadar, Dalmatia's capital for more than 1,000 years. Explore the city's pedestrianised marble streets lined with Roman ruins, medieval churches, palaces, museums and libraries. Late afternoon sailing. (B, L, D)

Day 6: Dubrovnik, Croatia

Arrive this morning in one of the world's most beautiful fortified cities. Its enormous ramparts and impressive fortress towers curve around the tiny harbour. Explore at leisure or join an optional tour of the city and its surrounding area. Early evening sailing. (B, L, D)

Day 7: Kotor, Montenegro

Mid-morning arrival at Europe's most southerly fjord and the spectacular town of Kotor. Visit the fortified Unesco world heritage site of Stari Grad (old town), followed by optional excursions. Early evening sailing. (B, L, D)

Day 8: Corfu, Greece

Morning arrival in Corfu town. Wander along the charming cobbled streets and visit the remarkable historic centre, or join one of the optional excursions. Early afternoon sailing. (B, L, D)

Day 9: Taormina, Italy

Enjoy panoramic views of the Sicilian coastline and Mount Etna this morning. Visit the picturesque town of Taormina and its small Roman theatre overlooking the glistening sea. Early evening sailing. (B, L, D)

Day 10: Capri, Italy

Morning arrival in Capri. This idyllic island has been inhabited since the Palaeolithic period and has been a popular resort since Roman times. Sleek yachts are moored in the deep blue waters of the bays with beautiful villas and villages cling to the steep slopes above. Lunchtime departure. (B, L, D)

Day 11: Sorrento, Italy

Early afternoon arrival in Sorrento. Not least is it ideally positioned for excursions to Pompeii, Capri and Amalfi but also Sorrento itself is wonderfully warm and full of street-life with cafes and a maze of shop-lined lanes, perfect for a relaxing stroll. Early evening departure. (B, L, D)

Day 12: Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy

Arrive this morning in the last port of call, Rome. Italy's 'Eternal City' is one of the world's most beautiful and inspiring capitals. Twenty-five centuries old and constantly reinventing itself, the city is a fusion of old and new. Transfer to the Hotel for overnight. (B)

Day 13: Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy - Fly home

Transfer to Rome airport and fly home. (B)
