Morning flight to Prague. Transfer and stay at the Hotel for 3 nights. (N)
Days 2 - 3: Prague
Full days at leisure to explore the capital of the Czech Republic. Maticka Praha - 'little mother Prague' - was largely undamaged by WWII, and the cityscape is stunning. Its compact medieval centre remains an evocative maze of cobbled lanes, ancient courtyards, dark passages and churches, all overlooked by an 1100 year old castle. Prague sits amid the gentle landscapes of the Bohemian plateau, straddling the Vltava River. Central Prague consists of five historical towns including Hradcany, the castle district, Staré Mêsto, the gothic Old Town and Josefov, the former Jewish ghetto. Within these historical districts linked by the landmark Charles Bridge are most of the city's attractions. (B)
Day 4: To Vienna
