Day 1: Fly to Amman

Day 2: Amman

Morning walking tour of Amman. Afternoon at leisure. (B)

Day 3: Jerash • Dana Biosphere Reserve

Morning tour of Jerash with a local guide. Head south along the King’s Highway, visiting Madaba and Mount Nebo. The day ends in Dana, a protected natural area established in 1989, and covering 320 sq km of rugged and beautiful landscape. Overnight at Hotel. (B, D)

Day 4: Feynan

Follow the constantly changing scenery of the 14km Wadi Dana Trail to Feynan, arriving in time for a sunset hike. Stay overnight at Hotel. (B, L, D)

Day 5: Petra

Morning drive to Petra. On arrival, visit Little Petra. Stay at the Hotel for 3 nights. (B)

Day 6: Petra

Full-day guided tour of Petra. (B)

Day 7: Petra

A chance to spend a second day in Petra to discover more of the fascinating sights in your own time and at your own pace. (B)

Day 8: Wadi Rum

Drive to the stunning sandstone and granite valley known as Wadi Rum for a 4x4 excursion into the rough terrain. Stay overnight at Camp, where you can spend a night under canvas or out in the open beneath thousands of stars. (B, D)

Day 9: The Dead Sea

Morning departure from Wadi Rum to the Dead Sea. En route, visit the 12th-century crusader castle of Kerak. Overnight at the Hotel. (B)
