Day 1: Fly to Beijing (N)

Day 2: Beijing

Arrive in Beijing and transfer to the Hotel for a 3-night stay. (N)

Day 3: Beijing

Morning visit to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. After lunch, visit the Summer Palace and beautiful gardens, followed by afternoon tea at the Hotel. (B, L)

Day 4: Great Wall

Drive north from Beijing and visit the legendary Great Wall at Jinshanling, a peaceful and dramatic section of the wall. (B, L)

Days 5-6: Xian

Early morning departure to Xian by high-speed train. Afternoon arrival in Xian and proceed to the Wild Goose Pagoda, followed by a short art tour and calligraphy lesson at the Tang Bo Art Museum. Transfer to the Hotel for 2 nights. The following day take a private tour of the Terracotta Warriors. (B)

Day 7: Wuhan

Continue to Wuhan by high-speed train. Arrive and transfer to the Hotel for a 1-night stay. Afternoon visit to the Yellow Crane Tower and the Hubei Provincial Museum. (B)

Day 8: Nanjing

Continue to Nanjing by high-speed train. Transfer to the Hotel for a 2-night stay. (B)

Day 9: Nanjing

Morning tour of Mount Zijin, Zijinshan observatory and Ling Gu temple. Afternoon at leisure, with time to visit the Nanjing Museum and the Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall. (B)

Day 10: Shanghai

Early morning departure to Shanghai by highspeed train. Transfer to the Hotel for 2 nights. (B)

Day 11: Shanghai

Morning tour of Shanghai, visiting the Jade Buddha temple, Yu garden and the Bund. Optional afternoon cruise on Huang Pu river, or visit the Shanghai Museum independently. (B)

Day 12: Fly home

Option to transfer to the airport via the Shanghai Maglev train, then fly home. (B)
