Days 1-2: Fly to Salta

Fly to Salta for 2 nights and explore this beautiful city. (B)

Day 3: Purmamarca

Travel north to see the Salinas Grandes salt flats and the Hill of Seven Colours. Overnight at Purmamarca. (B)

Day 4: Tilcara • Humahuaca • Salta

Visit the pre-Hispanic treasures of Tilcara and admire the multi-coloured Humahuaca gorge before returning to Salta for 1 night. (B)

Days 5-6: Cachi • Molinos • Cafayate

Head south through rugged canyons, high summits and giant cacti deserts to the colonial villages of Cachi and Molinos. Stay 1 night and continue to Cafayate and its excellent wine estates for a night or two. (B)

Day 7: Salta
